Junior Designer

Job description

We are growing rapidly and looking for a talented, highly motivated Junior Designer to work with us in producing original, creative and polished campaigns and content for our client brands. 

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Support the design team with the execution of day-to-day design tasks;

  • Support the process of developing design concepts through to finished designs, in a variety of online and print media;

  • Participate in design discussions and give feedback;

  • Work closely with our Internal Production team in order to ensure that the work you are producing is in line with the client brief; and

  • Work within the core studio team to develop groundbreaking creative campaigns and brand designs - encourage each other and collaborate in creating superlative quality work.

Requirements

Essential strengths and experience:

  • Design experience acquired either in-house or agency-side;

  • A portfolio that demonstrates creativity and a desire to experiment and innovate;

  • Confident with using the Adobe Creative suite;

  • Strong eye for design - knowledge and experience in typography, colour and composition;

  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and existing looks and feels;

  • A solid understanding of design principles;

  • The ability to interpret client briefs;

  • Understanding of brand guidelines;

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills;

  • Strong initiative and proactivity;

  • Organised with the ability to work to deadlines;

  • A willingness to learn and share knowledge;

  • A team player through and through, and a natural relationship builder;

  • A great work ethic and a can-do attitude; and

  • The ability to thrive while working in a fast paced, high energy environment with daily deadlines.
